  1. Just to be clear so you do not mislead people…eating fish is eating meat, eating chickens is eating meat. They are not different categories, so when you say you don’t eat meat but you eat fish, you are still eating meat.

  2. Kristina, I love your videos and do them all the time with my husband. I just found out I’m pregnant and would love to hear about your journey with pregnancy while doing yoga and how you felt and how it changed your exercise routine. Thank you for all your hard work and please keep it up.

  3. Thank you Kristina for sharing your experience! Mine is pretty similar to yours. I was skinny from age of 9 and as long as I remember myself, I always had digestive problems. I was never a big fan of meat and with going into spiritual practices more during the years, I realized that meat just disappeared from my diet. However, the stomach problems didn't go away. There was a period of six months when I ate only raw food and I felt great until my body began to scream asking for warm food – of course it was winter and I didn't know Ayurveda then :). So I started eating cooked food again. The important thing is to understand that our well being is not only about what we eat but about harmony in our lives – self-esteem, relationships, mindfulness, being content and happy, ability to hear our real needs, to live in moment with no judgement or regrets, etc. I'm still trying different ways of bringing my system into balance – yoga is a wonderful way to learn who I am and what I need. I eat mostly vegetables, sometimes fish, grains but don't go crazy strict knowing that forcing myself never works for my best. The only thing totally out of my diet is meat, simply because it doesn't correlate with me. Thank you again for your videos!

  4. I am vegan as I find that knowing my actions cause no harm to animals, I'm much more settled and in line with my moral compass. This allows me to focus on all my goals, including my fitness and yoga goals. I've always been able to find a compassionate option for my nutritional needs. Thanks for all of your videos. I'm a huge fan.

  5. Thank you so much for sharing this story. I have struggled for a long time with my relationship with food. I also have followed the high protein diets several times throughout my life. I did lose weight but I felt tired all of the time and my digestion was awful. I found, like you, that a balance of vegetarian, dairy, tofu, and fish makes my body feel best. I found what you said about issues with food mixing very interesting, and I plan to investigate that. How often do you eat fish, and what kinds of fish do you eat? Just curious! Again, thanks for all of your posts. I feel so happy coming back to my yogic life!

  6. Hi, Kristine, thanks for sharing your journey! I learn some from this video, now, I eat every foods including meat, but I am trying to add more vegetables and water in my life, the most important thing for me is to control the amount ..which is hard for me, as when I m hungry, I eat fast, then I might not know I'm full and then overeat ..; so slowly chewing and more vegetables, less carbs or meat, controlling the amount would be better for me now, it works well :))
