So I did a poll where I asked you if you’ve ever done a health screening before. Almost 75% of you said NO, and only a shocking 25% said YES.

I’m almost 30 and I did my 1st health screening just over a year ago. Back then, I didn’t really see the importance because hey like most of you, I am young, I feel fit and fine anyway. Why then do I have to take a medical test when I have no issues? Wellllll, that’s not entirely true.

  2. Thank you for educating people on the importance of regular health checks. I am 31 and was diagnosed with breast cancer at 28. Who knew at such a young age I would be a cancer patient. I'm also type 2 diabetic even tho I'm nowhere near overweight and fairly healthy. It can happen to anyone

As a person working in the medical field I can’t count how many patients who walked in with diabetes hypertension and other cardiovascular problems because they never done check up and thus never done the necessary precautions e.g. eat healthier do more physical workouts. Most of them are diagnosed way too late, often when signs and symptoms appear the condition has already worsened a lot. Sure you don’t need to do a checkup to know the way to live a healthy lifestyle but knowing how well your body is or how bad it is gives you a wake up call, especially when those diseases above are all silent killers. Please do a yearly check up for your own good!

  4. Of course Doctors will want us to do health screening because it's a source of income to them.
    Once the test shown something, the doctors will not know what to do anyway. They will try this and that…. That is why doctors called it the practice.

  5. Hi Joanna. You are doing a great job by inspiring people. My family has a tradition of practicing intermittent fasting everyday for the whole year. I wanted to ask whether it'll be okay for my body to do intermittent fasting and then follow your strength training and Cardio exercises. I mean would it be healthy ?
